Scope
This policy explains how personal data is processed when you visit or use AeroPrompter at https://aeroprompter.app/, including the feedback form and browser-based teleprompter features.
Data We Process
Teleprompter content and preferences
Scripts, titles, reading settings, and accessibility preferences are stored in your browser using local storage. They remain on your device unless you export them, clear site data, or use browser synchronisation features controlled by your browser.
Microphone and speech recognition
Voice-activated scrolling uses your browser's speech recognition feature only after you enable it and grant microphone permission. AeroPrompter uses recognition results to match your speech against the current script and scroll the page. The app does not store audio recordings or speech transcripts on its server.
Depending on your browser, speech recognition may be processed by the browser provider or operating system provider. Please review the privacy settings and policies for your browser if you use this feature.
Feedback form
If you send feedback, we process the name, email address, and message you submit. A hidden anti-spam field may also be submitted; messages with this field filled in are treated as spam and ignored.
Technical access data
When you access the website, hosting and security systems may process technical data such as IP address, date and time, requested files, referrer, browser type, operating system, and error logs. This is used to deliver the website, maintain security, and diagnose faults.
Fonts and external resources
AeroPrompter loads Google Fonts from Google servers. This can disclose technical request data, including your IP address and browser information, to Google.

Recipients and Processors
Personal data may be processed by service providers used to operate this website, including hosting infrastructure, email delivery through Mailgun for feedback messages, Google for hosted fonts, and your browser or operating system provider when speech recognition is used.
These providers may process data in Switzerland, the EU/EEA, the United States, or other countries. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for transfers abroad.
Retention
Feedback messages are retained only for as long as needed to respond, maintain records, and handle abuse or legal claims. Technical logs are retained according to hosting and security needs. Data stored in your browser remains there until you delete it or your browser removes it.
Your Rights
Under applicable data protection law, including the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing of, or receive information about your personal data. You may also have the right to data portability where applicable.

Automated Decisions
